Re: Galileo 2009
I google mapped all the teams in the Galileo division, see it here:
Galileo Google Map Great to see a great variety of teams! Some from Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Israel! Surprisingly none from Canada though. I made it editable by anyone, so feel free to move your team in your exact locations and add a little additional info, I just put the teams in their cities that they provided on the FIRST site. |
Re: Galileo 2009
when i first saw the list earlier at work... i was like "wow, this division is stacked" the 1st AC can't go wrong during alliance selection, just look at all the great teams, 20 ,25, 40, 45, 67, 71, 111, 179, 359, 744, 987, 1318, 1646, 1902, 1923... this division is amazing
it's a shame Archimedes is on the opposite side of the dome... 11:45am Saturday morning.... this will be fun to watch.... |

I'm kinda biased, but I'd really like to see 236 win... so I'm rooting for Curie. |

GALI
Anyone want to make a new signature bar this year? I'm really excited to do this! Let's prove that Galileo is the best field out there! |

LEO
The stands are going to be as exciting as the action on the field! This is going to be incredible. Not only do many of these teams know how to make noise - they are just plain awesome in so many ways. And the pits, oh wow. Edit: How many Hall of Fame teams do we have? I count 4. |

Our robot will be easier to see this year, too. (it's clear, but it's a lot bigger then our 2008 rabbit). Also, We have at least one WA team on each of the four fields. Be sure to check out 1983 (Curie), 488 (Archimedes), and 360 (Newton), IMHO three of the top WA teams. Shout out to 359, glad to see you again after a fun time in Oregon. |
Re: Galileo 2009
I'm not going to be in ATL this year (I guess there's something called college that's semi-important and I can't manage to get out of it...hahah) but I am SOOO excited to watch all of you teams on the webcast! This is an amazing group of teams, and I can't wait to see you all raise the bar of competition.
I'm already planning a Galileo watch party with friends...so stoked! :D |
