FTC in ATLANTA!!!!!!!!
 

Hey every body! watz up! you guyz ready for atlanta???:yikes: this is my teams 1st time competing(team 2818 G-Force). we won the inspire award in laplata MD. we almost beat the twisted bots (our autonomus had turrets and kept messing up). But were ready for a good challange after upgrading our robot. Whats your Story?

PS. were starting a mosh pit at the Goerga Dome :rolleyes:

Well this will be my fourth year at Atlanta. I can promise you this is really a truly amazing event. I hope you have a fantastic time. 111 is a well known team and its very hard to miss us. If you guys want feel free to find me, I am the guy wearing a fedora hat with all sorts of colored beads around his neck. I would be willing to show you guys around and help out. If your robot has any problems feel free to come by the WildStang pits, we will help you anyway we can.

You might get more response from other FTC teams if you post this in the FIRST Tech Challenge area on Chief Delphi! It's located a little further down on the list of forums!

Team Unlimited had a hard fought battles this year in New Jersey (where we lost to the Power Surge in our division, who also went on later to win the tournament) and in Massachusetts (where we lost to the Sharon Myotonics in teh finals). After these hard fought battles on the field, we ultimately won the inspire award in Massachusetts.

This is Team Unlimited's 5th time to the internationals as an FTC team (we were one of the original founding teams way back in '04). Since then, we have always placed in the upper quater in Atlanta. This is Team Unlimited's VETERAN SQUAD (the team that has competed 5 time in a row) final year as we are all graduating. We have been training incoming freshman this year to take over the team next year as we depart.

I'm Patrick, I will be in the pit area during Atlanta, so feel free to come over to visit guys :). I'm sure I will see you all as I walk around the pits. I'll be in my team shirt and an RPI hat.

Power Surge is a rookie team this year, but three of our members and I were involved in FLL in previous years (we won the FLL World Festival Robot Performance with all perfect scores), and I've been involved with robotics ever since I was 9. I've also co-authored four books about FLL and the LEGO robotics system (three of which were robotics bestsellers on Amazon), which you can see here and here. Two other of our members used to be with Team Overdrive, which was a member of the winning alliance in Atlanta last year.

We've had a great experience with FTC this year; we were the captain of the winning alliance at NJ and DE, won the Inspire award and DE, and won the Innovate award at NJ. We've yet to be defeated in a match at a tournament. :)

i wish i could have made the mosh pit, i am very disapointed in that, but atlanta was awsome :)
