Rookie question...

I was just wondering. My team is going to Atl. for wining the rookie all star award and was wondering if they award the rookie all star awards again in Atl?
Thanks:cool:

Yup, there is a single Championship Rookie All Star Award.

Alright, is there one in each division, or one for over all?

There is one for the entire Championship. There also is one Rookie Inspiration Award.

Ok, thank you so much for straightening out that for me.

there is also a Rookie Top Seed award given out on each division

oh, i've always asked this, to win the rookie all star award at CMP, did you HAVE to win RAS at a regional. (saying that you qualified for atlanta by winning the regional and not RAS.)

The manual is silent on the subject, however, however, because it's the "CA for Rookies", I would assume that you have to win RAS at a regional. You could easily argue the other way, though. It certainly doesn't hurt your chances...

Re: Rookie question...

To my knowledge, there is no requirement that a team win RAS at a regional in order to win RAS at the Championship. However, consider that the only ways a rookie can get to the Championship is through RAS at the regional (one at every regional) or by winning the event (which some do, but with nowhere near the frequency). Therefore, I'd find a case where a team won Championship RAS without a regional RAS to be highly unlikely.

Or, being in the "top 18" in the Michigan rankings.

Of the 39 Rookies attending Championships, all but one received the Rookie All Star Award. And that team is indeed from Michigan.
