Re: Battle O' Baltimore - Senior info needed.

If your team plans to attend the Battle O' Baltimore please forward the names of the seniors from your team that graduated this year. We're stealing an IRI idea and plan to show their names on the screens before the awards.
You can post here or send me a private message.

Thanks!:)

Last Monday some of the teams showed up for publicity on a local channel for the "Manic Monday" segment - a silly, but much watched fun tradition in B-more.

BoB results

The third annual Battle O' Baltimore was a rousing success!
With 24 teams in attendance the competition was fierce and everyone played in the finals.

Congratulation to the team award winners:
Mike Wade memorial award - Team 1748 "Lab Rats"
TIME Center Judges award - Team 339 "Kilroy"
TIME Center WOW award - Team 2377 "C Company"
Time Center Gracious Professionalisn award - Team 1727 "Rex"
Several individual recognition awards were also given out.

The final three matches were hard fought and were decided by a final Super-Cell with a "Crab-bonus" (25 pts.)

Congratulations to the winners:
Team 007 - "Team007"
Team 2377 - "C Company"
Team 2866 - "Project Mayhem"

...and to the finalists:
Team 2199 - "Robo-Lions"
Team 888 - "Robotiators"
Team 2791 "Shaker Robotics" (all the way from NY)

From my own standpoint, as one of the field managers, I would like to thank every team in attendance for paying attention to the startup sequence and any other instructions we were giving. It made everything run smoothly and certainly enhanced the event.
I saw lots of GP both on and off the field; and have you ever had that much pit space before!
Thanks also to all the volunteers, the referees, the judges, the FMS Lite crew, The Park School, the announcers (courtesy of BAE Systems,) and the list goes on and on.

The last big thank you goes to NASA and Rob Thate without whose continued support this event could not take place.

The BAA looks forward to seeing everyone again next year for another great Battle O' Baltimore!
