Im the drive coach from 247 and I just wanted to say thank you for those last two matches. I thought I had experienced FIRST before but really it was those last two that were amazing. Great job guys, I hope to see you on Einstein next year!

Does anyone know the winner or the ASME Auxillary scholarship???

It was supposed to be announced at the championship event.

I applied for it as well as was curious about it too. Let me know if you find out.

Wow... what a year, and it's hard to believe how quickly it came to an end.

None of the rounds on Einstein went to 3 matches, but there sure were a bunch of close matches...

When all is said and done, congratulations to 111, 67, and 971. I know you've all put a lot of work into your robots this year and they sure were a beauty to behold. You guys really lit up Einstein!

111, congratulations on becoming one of the 4 teams now that have at least 2 FRC World Championships under their belt. From week 1, I was very impressed by your performance. Your robot design is beautifully executed. Congratulations on 1st seed, and of course, the championship.

67, I don't think anyone could have pulled off a better season than you did. 1114 set the bar high last year with 3 Regional wins + Championships. You did even better with 3 District wins + Michigan State Championships + World Championships. Your robot design is so beautiful, and it was so wonderfully driven. Finals match 2 on Einstein really showed how good you were at driving, ending the match with a whole 0 balls in your trailer. Also, congratulations on your second World Championship!

971, Your performance was excellent, and I have no clue how you managed to not get picked until the very last pick of the draft, but regardless, your play was crucial to the alliance. Your contribution to the alliance was huge, great job on a well deserved victory!

Also, I would like to congratulate 217, 68, and 247. You are all wonderful teams from the (no bias at all) wonderful state of Michigan.

217, it was fun to practice with you guys for hours, as well as compete with/against 3 times this year. Your robots have always inspired me, and I was again impressed with your performance this last weekend. Great job, and you can always still win IRI!

68, I enjoyed talking to you guys a bit on Friday just before the pits closed. Your robot design is so simple, yet you are definitely one of the best scorers in FIRST! Excellent job, and keep up the wonderful work!

247, Finalist on MSC, and then finalist at the World Championships, wow. You guys had a wonderful robot this year, an elegant balance between scoring and defense. I think I can safely say that you played the smartest defense that I have seen all year, from any teams, and you even did it without fans.

To the whole alliance, good job representing Michigan! I really hope this can help to show the advantages of the District model, and that it can spread through all of FIRST in the near future!

Congratulations to all teams that competed. I was impressed by so many of your robots and how well you played. I hope to see many of you at IRI or otherwise. Good luck!

Thank You sir, it feels good to finally make it to Einstein (a first in our 13 year history :D ) I really want to go to IRI this year but im not sure if we will be able to go this year...

On behalf of everyone on WildStang I want to thank you all for your kind words. I want to extend a very large thank you to 217, 68, and 247. I was one of the student leaders for strategy and I was nervous to hear we were going to go against such a strong alliance. I want to thank all of you for making my final year on the team such a intense filled finals match on Einstein. I also want to extend thanks to all teams new and old who had been at Midwest Regional, Boilermaker Regional, and the Galileo Division. Everyone of your teams contributed to the success of our team this year, every match we played with you guys helped us become a stronger team. Great Job everyone and I hope to see everyone need year!

Congratulations to one of the most dominant alliances of all time. Between HOT's unprecedented 5 event wins, Wildstang's undefeated championship run and 971's ridiculous outcome changing dumps on Einstein, this alliance has rewritten the record book and raised the bar for all of FIRST.

At this point now, it's fairly conclusive that at the least, the 2009 HOTBot is one of the top 5 robots of all time. If we're looking at just final results, then without a doubt this is the greatest season of all time!

What makes this alliance even more special, is the amazing people who were a part of it. Wildstang and HOT are two of the classiest teams in FIRST, and even though I don't know 971 personally, the praise I've heard heaped upon them makes me think the same of them.

Congratulations again.

Congrats HOT!!!!!!!! With the help of team 111 and 971 you have brought the title home to michigan again. Also congrats to the Thunderchickens, Da Bears, and T3 for making it to the semis. You guys are so inspiring to us. We are learning so much from you veterans and will take this season experience and be ready for this summer and especially next year.
