Don't they have 8th finals at Battlecry, or is that somewhere else. If they do, is there a different scoring system?

They have eighth finals at BattleCry, but every team is guaranteed a place in the tournament. 48 spots, 48 teams

Because his last team dropped out Alex got 2648 by default and all they did was score 30 points. He didn't really need it. 121 scored 85 points so they could have won all by themselves.
