Since I don't know enough (yet!) about all 82 teams to make my own prediction I modified this somewhat. I'll have a proper prediction (as well as a scouting book with every team there in it) sometime in a few weeks.

Although I see a lot of top notch teams in the eliminations, I would find it hard to believe that 910 would not be picked if not one of the alliance captains.

From the IRI website: Early Career / Pre-Rookie Teams are not part of the 72 Team IRI field of teams.

It seems likely that a rookie team competing in the field of 72 will be excluded from participating in the Early Career Challenge.

Although I'm disapointed we didn't make it, I feel a little better when looking at some of the other teams that were not invited. When you have two teams playing Saturday afternoon at the Championship, the top pick at one of the tougher regionals, and many finalist and semifinalists, not get invited, you know you have a strong field of teams. I'm glad I'm not in the position of choosing which teams to invite.

Anyway, my prediction (or teams I would like to see win) is 111-68-469-910.

Looks like CA gets a strong presence (8 West Coast teams, 7 of which are CA) this year. A few years ago for dodgeball you guys were complaining that the "West" was all "Midwest". Now, do you still have the Poof balls, so you can really have an East vs. West matchup?:D

This is probably the strongest showing that the West Coast has yet sent to IRI.
