That is FMS Light. Am I correct?

Yup, doesn't look / work any different then FMS Reg. / Champ. version. You do have to manually increment the match numbers / input team numbers but funcionality on a basic level. I def. had a blast using it again =D (I guess partially b/c I was an FTAA and know what I'm looking at already).

You did a great job running the field on Saturday, things seemed to run very smoothly!

Thankies I had fun doing it. Something I always wanted to do at a Regional Event but eh we all have to learn how to walk before we can run. Then again I think I mastered Walking lol.

It was def. cool to see everything running smooth. If it weren't for so many FTA's that I've worked under who allowed me to play with the wiring and the program itself during setup I prob. wouldn't have known so much =) So a HUGE Thanks goes out to the FTA's who have given me some of their time during their busiest of days =)

When I was scorekeeping the first time they pretty much pulled the pin from my head and tossed me in. Practicing on a "light" version of the app might have helped, but -- frankly -- being Scorekeeper is a pretty good gig. There's lots to do between matches, but the rest of the time there's not much to do but watch the matches. People bring you snacks and drinks, too, and if anyone stands in front of you they are rapidly moved, especially if you are sitting next to the announcer. It's nice. Just don't tell anyone or I might lose my job.

Yea I guess though I already know how to work the full FMS version from prior years including this year obviously and such. Thats why I guess FMS Light was so easy for me ... Although maybe we shouldn't tell people its a sweet gig cause like you said we'll lose our jobs... lets lie to everyone so we have something to do next year :p

I used FMS light at an offseason scrimmage. The thing crashed often and we had a bunch of random failures which were solved by having teams turn their robot off and then back on again. I don't know where the problem was (teams, the computer, or FMS). Anyone else experience similar problems?

Ummm nope, just the basic windows error in which a simple restart fixed :)
