Looking for FRC teams for calendar fundraiser
 

Team 134 is looking for 12 or more teams to participate in a fundraiser idea we were discussing at our last meeting. We were thinking of creating a calendar with each month featuring one team’s robot. Then each team could sell the calendars as a fundraiser. This idea is only in the conceptual phase. We have not committed to a printer or custom calendar vendor, so if anyone has a contact who would like to assist with the project the information would be greatly appreciated. Could any robot be on it? I would love to put ours in, but I'm not sure if you have any sort of restrictions about it.

As previously posted we are investigating putting together a calendar to sell as a fundraiser which would include 12 or more teams, with each team’s robot being the top page for the month. So far teams 1189, 2470, 1735, 624, 423, 957, 75, 624, 1323, 1729, 1771, and team 134 have expressed an interest (teams 75, 201, 624, 1323, & 1727 only responded to CD, so please email dkelly@sau53.org, ASAP). Teams who did not respond and are now interested please email the address above ASAP. We are asking each team to make a commitment to order at least 50 of the 8.5” x 11” color calendars. Teams can certainly order more than 50. Based on our current quote it will put the cost of the calendars and shipping at $5.71 per calendar or a minimum of $285.5. Team 134 is planning on selling our calendars for $10, which would make this a worthwhile fundraiser.

The next steps are:

1. Please respond back to the above email that you are interested in being included in the calendar by July 6th. Also please include in the email if you would like a preferred month, Team 134 has reserved December.
2. Once we are assured that we have at least 12 committed teams, we will need a high quality picture of your robot and a $100 deposit and the number of calendars you would like printed (50 minimum). Hopefully we will be able to receive all the photos by mid-September and have the calendars ready by mid-October.
