FIRST Game Survivor: Round 13
Here's how it works. Each week we will "vote off" a past FIRST game until we have our "Survivor"
Last week Aim High survived by only 2 votes. Will a titan go down this week? Voted off Round 1: 2000- Co-Opertition FIRST Round 2: 2001- Diabolical Dynamics Round 3: 1995- Ramp n Roll Round 4: 2007- Rack n' Roll Round 5: 2003- Stack Attack Round 6: 2005- Triple Play Round 7: 2002- Zone Zeal Round 8: 1993- Rug Rage Round 9: 2008- FIRST Overdrive Round 10: 1992- Maize Craze Round 11: 1999 Double Trouble Round 12: 1997 Torrid Terror If you are unsure about past games, you can read up on them on the links below: http://firstwiki.net/index.php/Game |
Re: FIRST Game Survivor: Round 13
Since there was no information at all on Hexagon Havoc on the FIRSTwiki, then I'm voting that off.

Re: FIRST Game Survivor: Round 13
Might want to check the Technokats History Project, then, assuming it loads. http://www.technokats.org/historyproject.php
It's probably the most extensive resource for FRC game history. FIRSTwiki doesn't even come close. If you'll notice, team 45 is noted as a source on many of the older games... Edit: FF 3.0.10 gets the server error too. Earlier, I was having trouble getting to the site... Edit 2: I just remembered one other site. http://www.first-a-holics.com/competitions/ has some of the old game manuals. Happy history lesson! |

Re: FIRST Game Survivor: Round 13
It seems apparent to me that Aim High, Ladder Logic, FIRST Frenzy should be the final three.
However, I can't decide between Hexagon Havoc and Tower Power. I think I'll wait this time to vote. If anyone out there would like to persuade me between the two, I'll be glad for some advice on this one. EDIT: Just noticed the remaining years are all even. Anyone else notice this? |

Re: FIRST Game Survivor: Round 13
I hadn't looked at the "Maize Craze" rules for a while. VRC and FTC robots are now routinely bigger and frequently heavier than the first year of FRC. My how times change.
