That's kind of cool, but sort of digusting. I wonder if the candy corn tastes like soap?

No, of course not. He is trying to explain how soap works - did you notice how the 'blob' of candy corn went from a like of loose agglomeration floating in water to a somewhat rigid sphere once he pushed enough corn into it? That's the critical point where, if it were soap, the grease would fully enter the wash water to float away, leaving the clean cloth behind. But in this case, there's no soap involved. Radio.

I agree, the best kind of science.

You mean more than normal?

Other than the oily outside, the corn on the inside was just touching water.
