I am not fond of the idea of a double day, but I think there should be a rule of one post per standard page (15 posts) and at least two posts between each of yours (so you can't post at the bottom of a page and top of the next one.)

read the first post before posting (In Soviet Russia first post reads you)

I think the CD Games/Trivia forum time limit (however long it is) is quite long enough. That and a proposed 2-person limit in between your own posts should do the trick between them.

Oh, and read the first post before playing. You do want to know what team you're on, don't you?

Re: Team A vs Team B

485.

Maybe you can install an accelerated increment/decrement table with the values ratcheting up as you get closer to the score?

+/- 5: 400-600
+/- 10: 300-390, 610-700
+/- 20: 100-280, 720-900
+/- 50: 0-50, 950-1000

Or better yet, invert this table to get closer to the "scoring danger zone" faster, where the battles would be more "exciting".

Read the 1st post, or else.....

This is a cool idea. I just think it is going to take 5 years for anyone to score. At that point most of the people who were here to start the game, won't be here. Perhaps thats the point... Not sure, I just think it should be feasible for a team to score every month or two.

$*% (485)

I'm thinking maybe in the off season the scale should go 400-600. Its like a tug of war on a football field right now.

Of course, I only say this because my team is winning. As soon as it hits 500, we should keep it 0-1000!;)
