Re: RoboCup 2009
RoboCup has slowly progressed into a very amazing competition!
My two favorite competitions are Small Size League & Standard Platform(formerly Aibo league) You can read the specifics on the competition website, http://www.robocup2009.org/20-0-robocup-soccer.html Small Size League- Thailand is really advancing the technology way beyond everyone else ! Skuba & Plasma Z look really dominate in their design presentations & overall performance. Standard Platform League - The first year with new hardware is quite painful to watch (very slow compared to the AIBOs) but I'm impressed with the number of teams & NAO technology. They don't have the official results posted, but I see UT-Austin is in the semi-finals ! B-Human (from Germany) looks to be the team to beat. |
