Ok here's the deal: we got three more drafts to go but I got two league members blowing off the drafts. One is a first timer and the other has been doing this all season (not showing up for draft even though he's online or ducking in or out of the thread without making a pick and he's not getting a PM this time) but since it's so late should I even bother following through or should I let it slide because it's so late in the season?

My opinion would be to let the first timer slide, and cut the chronic offender loose. The way I see it the randomizer is there to fill in the gaps because this league does involve a LOT of drafts and some people don't want to put in the time to make a list for every event (which is ok). If the randomizer is making a large portion of your picks, it's not really you playing, it's the randomizer.

If they have missed the last five than boot them. If you mean they have been attending 1 in 5 drafts through the last two months than tell the new player to stop it and kick the older one.

If an FRC team has a yellow card, and they get another, what happens? Red card.

Cut 'em loose if they don't pick tonight.

Honestly, if you just want random teams, say so. If not, then make a pick or send in a list (and BTW Ed, I hope you got the one I sent in last night for today). If you're only doing 1 in 6 (miss 5, respond to PM), and you aren't saying "random" every draft or two, just resign from the league.

The three people who's opinion I hold in the highest esteem in the league have spoken and if rocketperson44 does not participate tonight he is gone.

Not really.
But I will say what rocketperson44 does in the next 2 drafts will determine if I allow him to join up next season (as of right now I'm leaning heavily towards no).

And remember, there are two more drafts during the competition season.

MI State Championship: Draft is held a day or two before the event.

FRC Championship: During the break between regionals and the Championship.

I wouldn't let those slide, as there are some really good points to be had in the MI State event.

I'll be sending out PM polls to find out how many picks people thing we should have for the championships(I'm not doing 10 rounds).

I've got an idea, but I'll respond later via PM.

You want me to go ahead and plan on doing MI the Wednesday of that week, like happened last year?

I won't have to travel as far this year but I could use a break, so yeah you can take it this time.

what do you mean by 10 rounds? wouldnt we just do the same things for these championships as we do normal regionals?

There's 300+ teams to be divided amongst 22 league members.
There's more than enough teams for more rounds.
