Just clarifying, you mean New Jersey, right?

Ok, so after tonight's drafts we can expect a post in this thread listing who has been booted and then their teams are released to the available pool?

It's more likely to be in their tiers. jmanela is safe for another five drafts.

The following members have been booted from the league due to delinquency:

Josh Goodman
carbuff
Nawaid Ladak
GODUX123

Their teams are back in the pool and are free to be traded openly from in their respective leagues for whatever current team you have.

Re: [FF]: 2010 Season Long Fantasy FIRST

There was an issue in FLR League one, and I would like to get some input from the other people in the league. Please, imagine yourself in my position. I took the time to make my list and submitted it on time. When it got to my turn (with back to back picks at the end of round 1), my top 3 teams were 610, 229 and 145. I ended up with 145 and 610. I posted in the thread, pointing out the error. I then got a PM from EricH with a trade proposal so I can get 229 by trading some of my other teams. I declined, saying that I don't think it is fair for my to trade away my other teams for a team that should be mine.

I have offered two other solutions:
1. Rerun the draft. (yes, it would take some extra work, but there is the life lesson of if you don't want to do things again, do them right the first time)
2. Swap out 145 for (another) 229. There would be two 229s in the draft, but I don't think that is a big problem.

Does anyone have any problems with either of these solutions? Do you have a better solution?

A really sticky situation indeed. I think rerunning the draft is the "most fair" solution, but that takes work and time many of us don't have, so I'd go with the second solution just to be done with it.

Re: [FF]: 2010 Season Long Fantasy FIRST

Talk to Barry about his Traverse City draft. He was 4th to select and didn't get anyone in his top five. I also had an issue in the same draft, though not as bad as Barry's.
Ultimately it is just a game (even if I have stayed up too late many a night creating my team list), so it is hard for me to work up too much frustration. On top of that, Ed and Eric are doing this on their own time and I can't see it being an easy task so it isn't worth being mad at them either.

I am trading 340 to Eric for 229 and then trading 229 to you for 145 and then dumping 145 for 2228 and that will be the end of it.

You should get the teams that were on your list. Anything other then that is not right and is totally wrong.

(I've had this done to me already this season.)

Re: [FF]: 2010 Season Long Fantasy FIRST

I take an hour analyzing every regional, and put an extra bit of time creating a slick looking excel sheet. I put between 8-10 hours in every week.

This game is run by volunteers trying to give everyone a good time. There are two solutions: Run drafts yourself (which I have done in the past and enjoyed doing), or be sure you are online at 7:00 every night to correct mistakes IMMEDIATELY. Ed and Eric are on almost every night at 7, and their lives are just as busy as mine. both are accommodating to mistakes that occur soon after it has been made.

I was not online at 7 on Saturday, I was watching football. I didn't get my pick, I was frustrated with it, voiced my concern, and Eric said he updated his program. I have no right to a rerun of the draft; I'm looking forward to his new program to get all of the bugs out of it so future years can be run flawlessly.
