driver station

We are having an issue with our driver station. We have had the station in storage and got everything out and hooked it up. Turned it on and first had the words Quick byte come up then the screen went blank with a curser in the upper left corner. It never goes any further then a flashing curser.
Can anyone help?

I am going to first ask some questions. How long do you wait for it? Have you tried reloading firmware (not sure if you could in that condition.)? What conditions is it stored in?

That does sound like you need to reload the Driver Station firmware.
The logo displayed means the bootloader is working, but the blank cursor means it doesn't have anything to load.

That happens occasionally and it's fixable, but you need a $22 special connector.
Follow the reimaging instructions.
You can check with other local teams to see if any already have one you can borrow.

Just note that the reflashing process takes just under an hour (ours took 47 min 39 sec) and that it cannot be interrupted once started. (or you will be in a worse place then where you started)
