[FTC]: FTC Kick-Off Information

The new game will be live on the FIRST website at 5 PM, September 12th, but I'm sure if you're attending a live kick-off, you'll find out the game even earlier.

Good luck to everyone, and I can't wait for the craziness to begin.

P.S - This year, I'm not tied any particular FTC team, so I'm basically rooting for everyone, but I hope I can still stay involved through volunteering and working closely with the AP in our area. :D

Does anybody know what time kickoff events start?

it will depend on your local kick off event (if there is one) some will start early so that they can run workshops and other information sessions for teams. Others will just have teams meet in a gym to watch the live feed at 5 PM. I would contact the local FTC partner for your area and find out if there is an event near you.

We tried to get in touch with them, but because we decided to go late (this evening) we were unable to get in touch with them. We've just decided to show up to the New Jersey kick off and hope for the best, as we were unable to find out the exact time and it seems like most kick offs are starting around that time. Luckily, we're close enough that if we have to turn around and head home, we haven't wasted that much time.

The NJ Kick off starts at 8:30 AM at the College of New Jersey in Ewing NJ and has different workshops and info sessions about all things related to FTC.

Enjoy and good luck!

I won't be able to make it to the one down here, sorry Mr. Lowe :P, but I'll be waiting in anticipation.
