I've had 2 questions about the paint.

If the robot were to have stabilizers and they were placed in the paint zone is that considered the base being inside the paint?

Is the paint an 8' by 8' box or is it a 4' by 8' box?

Official Answer:
YES as there is contact with the paint.... Think like a basketball player.... can they reach over the 3 point line touching the floor and have the shot count...nooooooo.

Is the paint an 8' by 8' box or is it a 4' by 8' box?

Official answer:
The paint is a square 8 foot x 8 foot with the basket centered along the outer perimeter of that square.
