Thanks for the vote of confidence Chris and Dustin, hopefully we don't disappoint. NJ will be a tough regional for us as we will be testing different things and we'll be making adjustments during the event. We will just be using NJ to get ready for Boston. We're not totally sure how we'll do either with our current design, we'll base changes off of our performance in NJ.

Don't know how well we'll handle the balls as of now, but beware our drivetrain driver  He's been practicing.

Stogi, all of the confidence and respect I have for 11 (And You) has been earned over the years I've known you guys. And regardless of your testing and tweaking I'm sure that you'll make some sort of an impact in the regional, in one way or another.

And if your Drive Team is even half as good as last year you guys will do well, I hope they're as personable too.

Btw, who's coaching for 11 this year? Did you get dibs on that job?

We appreciate the kind words in how Dustin explained our robot. The students and mentors always love to be recognized for the hard work they put in. We can only hope our robot performs as well as we expect. Also thanks to his team, 816, for extending a pre-ship practice invitation (though we decided not to attend).

You're welcome. I know the feeling of pride felt by a team when they are mentioned in predictions. You guys earned it though, your machine looks great.

Myself and a mentor will be switching out during Friday's practice matches to see who the driveteam thinks is more effective. We leave it to our drivers to decide.

Awesome.

I hope you land the spot. I'm interesting to see what kind of strategic shenanigans you'll come up with.

We have a Coach Klein* playbook of-sorts;) I really think this game will come down to more about driver performance, strategy, and ball gathering than the boast of teams' kickers, so we're preparing plays to try out.

See you on the field ;)

I am looking forward to seeing/hearing some strategies that teams will ultimately put into action on the field.

And I second the hope that this doesn't turn into a penalty fest.

WOW I know who THAT friend is...

To be honest, we are nothing special this year. We do what every robot does - gather a ball and kick it in the goal. I think NJ will come down to who can do this best and there are certainly a few strong teams this year. I am also curious to see how many robots are legal. Due to the stringent rules this year, I think Thursday is going to be very stressful for many teams trying to comply with the rules.

we are excited to be competing and thank you for the vote of confidence in our design...

I am looking for ward to seeing 25's bot also, they are always a great attraction at NJ.

See you guys in about a day :)

I am going to look into setting up a live stream for NJ tomorrow. I will keep you guys posted if I can get anything to work on Friday. Of course if anyone else is already setting up a stream I wont bother.

I don't know of anyone else doing that, so again, it would be awesome.
