Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
Team 461 owes Alan Anderson a thank you, too. cRio issues are the hardest things to troubleshoot and it is nice to have all those experienced mentors and teams at BMR.
On that note, everyone please remember to open up and clean out your cRios every once in a while! Install those gaskets too. It turns out it was too late for our unit but there is still time for yours. It is only a matter of time before an aluminum shaving hits something it shouldn't. :ahh: Thanks also too 1555 and Chris Noble for lending us extra cRios. |
Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
No Problem Mate! glad we could help!
I would also like to thank Alan Anderson for the tips and help he gave me and my team. Thanks! |
Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
To 2081 & 234, team 2856 was humbled & honored to be a part of your alliance. What an exciting experience. As a second year team we are still learning and joining your your alliance taught us a tremendous amount! Thank you for your trust and comraderie. Kudos to team 45,868 & 2171 and best wishes in Atlanta! It will be another great honor to know we went toe to toe with the 2010 FRC champion!
I must also give props to 461 for showing us tremendous hospitality during BMR. Congratulations on the Chairmans award! "If Better is Possible, Good is not Enough!" |
Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
First of all, Congratulations to teams 45, 868, and 2171. I still am in awe of how close those finals matches were.
Thank you to teams 2081 and 2856 for being such tremendous alliance partners, it took the entire alliance to get to where we were. I had a blast working with you all. Too bad we were just a couple points from getting both of your teams qualified for the championship, you both deserved to be there. And last but not least, congratulations to the driver of 2081, Matt Birkel, for recieving one of the two dean's list finalist awards. Once again, congratulations to teams 45, 868, and 2171. Hope to see you all in atlanta! |

As for staying in the school, it was fun staying over on Friday night (although I wish the AC was on). |
Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
Kirtar,
My age showeth! Sorry about the confusion & transposing the award winners! Congrats are still deserved! Furthmore I failed to acknowledge our Sister team from KY, 2783-Engineers of Tomorrow, who loaned us enough batteries to make it through the elimination rounds! |

Re: 2010 Boilermaker regional
Thanks teams 234, 1018, and 1529! Without your help over this past season, this rookie team would not only have not existed, but it would not have been able to win the Rookie All-Star or a Safety Award. Also, thank you team 1741 for your Super Cool Rookie Award and to both you and team 554 for selecting my team to join Alliance 7. My team can't thank you two enough for allowing us to participate in the elimination matches.
Congratulations 2171, 45, and 868! It is humbling to know that my alliance lost to your team. I can't wait to see you in Atlanta. |
