Nah, the proof of tracks was in the official game hint, which just so happens to be a CAD render. (Nobody knows orientation of said tracks--or what they're tracks for.)

My Best Guess

Looking at the official hint #2 on the FRC webpage.

It would appear the yellow squares are tripped targets, having been tipped over.

Combined with the 2010 Winter Olympics this year. My personal guess is that we shall have a BIATHLON Competition. This would be most unique compared to previous years, and a bit of a pain to setup for the hosts, as far as space required. Nonetheless. It would be cool. Also the rail-road track and snow speculation fits right in. I searched for "biathlon" before posting. No one had made a post with the word. So hopefully this is not redundant.

So, not to be a buzz kill and sorry for the last minute post. But my team delivered the materials for them to build a mock of all the layouts on the field. We delivered plywood, and peg board.

Now I have my ideas, but what do you guys have?

I've said this before, but seeing as you're a rookie, I'll say it again: What you are actually looking at is a computer model of a portion of the playing field. Specifically, the field border. The yellow rectangles (they aren't square) are trip guards that are placed over tripping hazards, namely, field outriggers that keep the wall from falling outwards.

As for the materials for a mock build: Says nothing about anything. Plywood is used every year, and pegboard could easily be used for stuff you don't need plywood's strength for.

Is there anything really significant NASA-wise that would be a hint? Ah, who cares only about 8 hours till it starts anyway right? :yikes:
