Buying New Driver-Station?
 

hi, our team's Driver-Station died in the last year's competition (electronis + water = not good).

I can't find where we can find/buy a new one... (i understand we're not getting a new one in the KOP this year).

I'll be glad if someone here can hint (but not in a Dave way >>) me about who, what or where should we turn to in order to buy a new DS (?) or how can fix our own ><.

Or you could wait for the 2010 driver's station, which will be a Classmate PC and most likely in the kit.

971 was able to get a second robot running with the virtual driver station.

Using the Logitech control sticks is good.
Or you could ask around your team for anyone who has spare video game controllers

Kevin, he's asking about the DS, not the controllers. If it was just the sticks or other control devices, I don't think he'd be asking.

The Driver Station, on the other hand, is that blue box on last year's control panel. Without it, the control sticks are useless, even if they work.

ALL teams will receive a 2010 driver station, since the 2009 version will not be used for competition going forward. You can still buy a 2009 "blue" DS for your old robot at AndyMark.

You also might want to consider this option on a laptop that your team owns for now, since it would be free :)

once next years game is out, mainy team take apart there old robot for parts thus making it unrunable. there should be driver station avalible at that time.
