I spotted the icon immediately at the top of the portal. Very eye catching. Excellent work on the emblem and good luck this year!

Side note: You've got to name one of your robots Fawkes!

Like...like.... where is it?? AAHH WHERE'S THE LIKE BUTTON?! Oh, wait. ...Right.

It's really cool because it at least resembles a legitimate coat of arms, with the two 'parent' mascots. Very classy.

By the way, is the website going to get changed to purple?

I hope not. I've grown accustomed to the orange. If they choose to change it though, can we make it an optional change? I know some sites have multiple color schemes. The new logo at the top is already throwing me off a bit.

Our team was lucky to have the talent and creativity of Ms. Caius Schneider in the design of the new logo. Caius kept us on track during the design and made sure that we followed good screen printing practice, etc. for the blocks of color.

I am not sure how many FRC logos she has designed - I think quite a few - but if you are looking for some experienced artistic input, we would highly recommend her!

So will you call that the coat of arms of the Wings of Fire? Also I think the site can stay orange only because it represents the fire. Maybe we can incorporate purple somewhere else.

What would be the point of that? The combined efforts of the 2 teams creating 51 brings even more professionalism and applicable knowledge and experience to the table. With the unswerving support of IFI and other sponsors, Chief Delphi will not falter. It may go through a few color changes and transitions but most people who understand that change happens when change happens - won't be too thrown by 47's present situation and metamorphosis into and as a part of 51.

What we can do as members and supporters is be appreciative and patient with whatever changes occur. For those of us who find change hard to deal with, I'd advise that we take deep breaths, fasten our seat belts, and enjoy the ride. We are in good hands.

I like the new logo and team name. I am looking forword to the day when I see the robot that two legendary teams have created. It should be a fun year to watch.

This place is much brighter than most institutions I have seen. It also seems to be lacking straight jackets which I think is a mistake for many of us.

I have to second Rich, I look forward to the evening I wake up from a nightmare of seeing an alliance of N robots with this logo across the field.

i guess i'll just have to hide in a corner when the collosal power of the 2 teams comes after everyone!
