Help team of Chile
 
Hello, My name is Christian and I am team member #2576 called Chilean Heart. We participate in Michigan regional the 2008 and Los angeles 2009, now we want to participate in LA again but we have not money for pay the inscription but now the Univerisity that the two years ago paid the inscription they no will pay the inscription anymore, and looking a company for sponsorship in Chile is very complicate here We are just a few days for closing inscription and I wanna participate again =(

who have any idea for help?

Your english isn't that bad, some people have actually improved from posting on Chief Delphi. I cleaned it up a bit.

By inscription do you mean the 5,000 dollar registration fee? You are already registered for the LA regional and the championship.
I suggest you try to find a business to help you or create a fundraiser. There are white papers available to help you recruit companies or to run a fundraiser.

yeah, we are registered for LA and World champion but only is a pre-inscription, we not pay with money, only for name but we need money for pay. Can you understand me?

The Spanish equivalent of "register" is "enscribirse," which translates directly to "inscribe" in English.

As I understand it you need help finding sponserships or money. Go to http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/search/papers and search for what you need. I put in fundraiser and got 8 results. I do not know how helpful they will be in english.

You can also contact some robotics people in Brazil that can help you at http://www.brfirst.org/hotsite/contato. Hopefully then can put in contact with an experienced spanish speaking team that has experience with funding problems.

Did the University give your team a reason why they can no longer pay for your team? If you can, search for another University or college, ask the schools in your area too.

Yes I know they speak Portuguese in Brazil but more than likely they speak fluent Spanish as well.

colleges, universities, is very complicated, as not believe in this type of project, we tried with new universities but nothing happens, at least in Chile is so, we are also 25 different schools, but they are the most public and has no money to donate to Chilean heart. SI is a problem such projects in Chile
