I'll be there, catching a train Wed morning. :)

Come find me and say hi, I'll usually be around the field.

The regional is being webcast. You can to it from the Chesapeake regional homepage mentioned in the last post or directly at:

livestream.com/chesapeakefirst

Except there's no video on the page. Just a big, white box....

I moved to a PC and got right on. Still nothing on the Mac though, not even a "there are too many viewers" message.

My friend did that too and it worked.

Let me be the first from 2199 of what I am sure to be many to offer our heartfelt thanks to teams 1058 and 365 for picking us. Playing with a regional winner, and MoE, is well, its special, and something I am sure all of us will never forget.

I would also like to congratulate our Junior/acting Captain Katie Miles for Becoming the first Chesapeake Dean's List Finalist!

Hey there, member of 1058 here. It was really nice having you on our alliance. That second quarter final match that went 12-1 was the first match I personally saw of the elimination rounds, and you kicked some serious butt over in the far zone. Good luck to you and your team in Philadelphia!

And congratulations to Teams 1517, 2377, and 2534! All of us at 1058 are looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta, and a special shout out to 1517, becoming yet another one of New Hampshire's winning teams, and to 2377, congratulations on your second time reaching the finals!

And most of all I would like to thank the event organizers and the random match listings, which allowed Team 1058 to play our second qualifier at exactly 10:58!

Thanks for the comment. It was an honor for MOE 365 to run with 2199 and 1058 in the eliminations at Chesapeake. We put up a hard fight.

Re: 2010 Chesapeake Regional - NEW Location!

Hey Vance,
Thanks. As a parent on Team 1517, I have to say it was fun watching 1058 compete and congrats on your number one ranking after qualifying rounds (not to mention the performance at the Granite State Regional)! Look forward to seeing you guys in Atlanta.

A side note to those who mentioned the 50 user limit on LiveStream. We discovered that with a free LiveStream account you get unlimited streams (theoretically) but that's only after you have "validated" your account by filling out detailed form and having your account reviewed. This makes sense when you consider what some people could choose to webcast!

We did scramble to validate the account and the 50 user limit was lifted pretty quickly. So, if any other teams ever plan to use LiveStream, this is something to be aware of.

-Cheers

Hey everyone,

I've got my photos from the Chesapeake Regional online. There are about 3600 photos online from Friday/Saturday, and they are all tagged with team numbers + events + ratings. (Although 99% of them are rated 3, there are some 4/5's)

I'm pretty sure I got most of the teams too, so check it out!

Full resolution JPGs are available by clicking on the medium sized image. The RAW CR2 files are available by email request. (See the page footer)

No Annapolis? This makes me sad. Being at the Navel Academy was the best part of being at this Regional. Course, I'm also a Miltary Brat.

:D
