If you're planning on going to Purdue, be sure to check out the Purdue booth in St. Louis. I'll be there talking to folks on Thursday and part of Friday. Also be sure to check out Purdue FIRST Programs (PFP) once you get here in the fall. We'd love to have you join the student organization and help mentor local teams.

Same with me. I will most likely go to University of Minnesota for Music Education. Still been in FIRST for entire four years pushing the team's envelope, and I've always wondered why I was investing my time in FIRST. However, it's all been worth it.

University of Michigan LSA.

Didn't go for engineering as I'm not sure if engineering is the right path for me (you'd think after four years of FIRST I'd know).

Re: College Acceptances

I got into Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, U. of Michigan, UCLA, RPI, USC, and Case Western.

Unfortunately I'm still deciding between Berkeley, Michigan, and CMU but I shall be visiting Michigan next week so hopefully after that I'll make my final decision! Right now it looks like I'll be majoring in Mechanical Engineering at CMU unless Michigan changes my mind :P

Anyone know teams from the CMU area (Pittsburgh)?

I've read the thread discussing the pros and cons of mentoring FRC in college....I'm pretty sure I won't be mentoring any local teams, at least not in freshman year.

Usually a good idea to settle into college. But volunteering at regionals is still a great option to stay connected.

There are many Texas teams that need help.
