The Return of Detachable Objects?

After kickoff, I immediately decrypted the manual, and read the robot and the game sections. And re-read them. And re-read them. And I found no reference to what has been a constant rule, the "no detaching objects from the robot" rule.

Did I just miss something, after 3 complete readings and a search, or is there really no rule against this? If not, do you think it will be quickly re-inserted in the first team update, or do you think detachable objects have finally returned?

If so, how could we use them in this game? The immediate thought I had was a shallow-angle ramp, to make climbing over the bumps easier, but I'm sure if this remains allowed, teams will come up with MANY creative ways to use detachable objects.

Re: The Return of Detachable Objects?

See <G30>. If a device that starts with the robot and is therefore part of the robot at that time suddenly falls off the robot, it must go beyond the frame perimeter to do so. Therefore, it is a violation of <G30> (penalty, yellow card).

Let alone <G41>, which is what you were looking for.

<G41> Detaching MECHANISMS - ROBOTS may not intentionally detach parts or leave MECHANISMS on the FIELD. Violation: PENALTY for each incident and potential RED CARD if an intentionally detached COMPONENT or MECHANISM impedes MATCH play.
