Barbie as a Computer Engineer

Haven't posted in a long time on CD due to being busy with college, but once I saw this cause I thought of the people here at Chief Delphi.

On www.barbie.com/vote they are having a competition to see which career should be the next one for Barbie. One of the possibilities for this year is Computer Engineer. I was hoping that members of CD would be able to help out and add in more votes for a Computer Engineering Barbie. I think that if this Barbie comes out, it might help inspire younger girls to get into engineering or computing.

Hope everyone's build season is going well!

Not gonna lie, I'd rather choose Architect.

Also a win for engineering if she becomes that, but in a different manner. ::safety::

Found out about it from friends and reddit.com.

Hey, I think that I just lost some man points too. Which is very impressive, as I am not a man. So I'm now in the negatives, because of the high quantity of pink, stereotypes, and...pink.

+1 CE
Though I feel like they blended the ideas of computer engineering and computer science...

I was disappointed to see no Colonial Marine option.

+1 CE

Also, I note that their site is exceedingly pink.

Dan, you may have lost man points, but you more than made up for it by gaining "change-the-culture" points. I think this is a great idea - thanks a lot for bringing it to CD!

I agree.... I mean it's not like it's that hard to detect a similar IP and redirect it...

When Computer Engineer Barbie comes out, I might have to buy it, just because it's COMPUTER ENGINEER BARBIE. I have a feeling that now that this is on Chief Delphi, the other options won't stand a chance.
