If you haven't already, download the newest Cloudkicker album. It came out last week. It's definitely less groove oriented, but it's still great.

Also, neither of them are really metal, but check out Scale the Summit and Animals as Leaders for cool instrumental stuff. STS is more melodic and catchy, whereas AAL are more technical. Both good prog-type bands though.
