How do you make the bridges new ip address to be compatible with your computer.

If you connect and change the bridge IP to be compatible with the preferred robot setup, then after rebooting the bridge you must make your PC IP also compatible with the robot setup before you will be able to talk with the bridge again.

Assuming your PC is connected directly to the bridge...
After you set the bridge IP to 10.8.42.1
you must reset the PC IP to 10.8.42.6
then you should be able to browse to the bridge again.

Did you start from resetting both the bridge and router to factory defaults, or are you just resetting the bridge, since the router is probably fine already?

Hey, I've now configured the bridge and the router but the bridge doesn't have a green on the driver station

Go through a similar process to setup the router.

After you reset the router did you:
  • Directly connect your PC to it with an Ethernet cable
  • Change your PC's IP address to 192.168.1.6 (or you can use DHCP)
  • Browse to IP 192.168.1.1

Do you have a green cRIO status?

The most likely reason for the bridge not being green is the IP address could be off (not 10.8.42.1). The green status is only if a device with that IP is found. Or your PC's IP address is not based on the same team number (10.8.42.5 for the Driver Station PC).

Hey I've reset the router and the bridge, followed the steps again, and tried connecting from the classmate to the router. Then tried connecting to the bridge but still no luck. We can get into the router and into the bridge but can't connect to the bridge from the router. Anyone know what to do?

Does anyone know how to configure a router with Firmware Version: v1.0.04. Also, is it possible to downgrade it.
