Fisher Price gears

We looked at the Fisher Price motors and transmissions that were in the 2010 KOP today. The motors have 15 tooth gears, the documentation says they have 16 tooth gears, and the transmissions seem to be designed to work with 19 tooth gears (the motor gear does not mesh with the transmission gear).

Has anyone else looked at theirs or noticed any problems?

Check out Team update #2:

http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles...Update%202.pdf

Page 5 - Section 10 KOP: States it is a 19 tooth.

I will check ours tomorrow to confirm if we have 19 tooth. Could get interesting if we got the wrong gears now that our KOP check deadline has expired.

We noticed this as well. I just recently talked to Steve of 2815, and it appears theirs are 15 tooth too.

I was pretty sure we tested ours this year and they meshed fine but I am not sure, I will count the teeth tomorrow and report back here.

Ours are 15 tooth also. Haven't checked the mesh.
