Parts Usage Flowchart?

Hi all,

I can't seem to find the Parts Usage Flowchart. Last year it was in Section 8 of the manual I believe, and this year its not there nor anywhere.

Anyone know where it is?

I don't believe there is an updated Parts Usage Flowchart. After taking a quick look at the 2009 flowchart, with the exception of the "Traction Devices" box I believe that the flowchart should look about the same for this year. You may be able to use the 2009 Flowchart as a starting point to quickly determine whether a part may be legal or not.

Based on the lack of a Parts Usage Flowchart for this year you will either have to be very familiar with or review the Section 8 rules for an individual part you are questioning the legality of.

The 2010 Rules, Updates and Q&A are, as always, the only official source of rulings for this year's game so any use of last year's flowchart in the manner I mentioned above is unofficial, non-binding and should on;y be used as a starting point if at all.

Hmf. That's kinda odd of FIRST to leave out something kinda important.

'Twill get our mentor to ask in the FIRST Q&A though to see what really happened to it.

The flowchart has always been a summary of the rules, and as such was never official or binding. I think not having one this year actually makes things simpler (though if I didn't have years of experience with past rules I would probably think differently).
