Victor/Jag Testing set up
 
Here is an easy way to test those victors and jags.

A simple servo tester wired to a victor, no need for a CRio. Quick and painless, hope this help you guys.

And that you're not running these without the fan running? That is an easy way to burn them out!

I understand your worries, but the motor is free spinning. We would never run it like that on a transmission or under any load. As for the fan thing, we used these countless times in underwater robotics application with amp draws pretty low, like 15 amps for a second (Like a free spinning motor).
