Last Monday MOE 365 participated in a press conference at the MLK event with DE governor Jack Markell, Senator Kauffman, and other state and business leaders, on the need to prepare for technical careers. The governor signed an executive order to create a state STEM council to promote science and technology in Delaware schools. I don't know the details, but hopefully this will be an aid to expanding FIRST in the state.

This picture shows CozMOE (last year's robot) delivering the order to the governor (it's on a clipboard on the front of MOE).

(We had to use a tether because of all the electronic interference in the room)

That's so cool! But what else do you expect from a HoF team. :) A really neat way to spread the word of FIRST!
