2010 Sample C++ Autonomous Code Won't Run (Wind River)

Hello everybody--

I tried to run the 2010 C++ Sample program using Wind River - as is.
The code for Autonomous isn't running. I would like to find out from you whether you have experienced the same, and what do we need to do in order to make it functional?

Please help, thanks!

Re: 2010 Sample C++ Autonomous Code Won't Run (Wind River)

Our first attempts at running the 2010Camera example were unsuccessful as well. I have been doing research last night and hopefully we will get it to go today. Here is what I have found out and what I am going to try today.

First, apparently the first time you update the driver's station it doesn't necessarily work. If your dashboard on the classmate doesn't have the 'compass' on the bottom right of the screen then the dashboard update isn't correct. (I know ours didn't have that compass) So that is my first step.

Next, while I was reading through the camera code, it looks like you need to wait for the camera to initialize before you enable the robot otherwise your watchdog will die! Correct me if this is a misinterpretation of that code.

Hopefully that will help you too!
