Other cases of subtle discrimination could occur with racial minorities, or for some cultural or economic groups. We must all take care that we do not fall into the trap of, "X can't do that job because (s)he is ..."

Give someone a task to do with high expectations for results, and you will often be surprised at how well they do with it. Give a task with expectation of failure, and you may not be surprised at the outcome.
