We don't have to ask our school baord to come, they ask if there is room for them to come. Our school sees the FIRST team at our school as something that is saving our commmunity. I'm from an inner city school distric that doesn't meet but only one state requirmen, but yet they give our program money to operate on with help through Delphi Automotive Systems. So, our school system and board encourages us to travel and bring back expirences that most if not all of us would never have otherwise.
