Axis Camera Power polarity

Don't ask me how, but our programing team broke the power jack connected to the axis camera, Rather than mount it back on they want to wire it up directly to the power distribution board. Ive in the threads that a radio shack model of the power adapter is available, from which i could get the polarity of the smd pads, but with extensive searching i could not find it. Could someone give me either the model number or the polarity of these pads?

I don't quite understand the question, so I'll give you the answers to questions I do understand.

The camera power connector has positive in the center and negative on the outside. The Axis 206 camera's frame is electrically connected to the negative side of the power input. The separate camera power supply that came in our Kit of Parts last year was part number SA106A-0512-6.

we have a similar problem, the small black box which houses the connection inside is "loose" and the connection is unreliable. we're considering making a direct connection as well. could you let us know if it works for you?

We had the same problem and made the direct connection. We haven't had any problems so far.

We just finished with connecting the power directly and everything seems to be working.
