Multiple Solenoids for One Actuator?

Hey everyone,

So our team is thinking of creating a kicker design on our robot that is powered by a single actuator. The idea is the actuator would be powering a Ram-type kicker, and we'd use some levers to increase speed.

My question is if we can use multiple solenoids on a single actuator. We've been looking through the rule book, and we can't find anything against it. The idea is that if mulitple solenoids feed into one actuator, it fills faster, resulting in faster action.

Then the second question would be, has anybody tried this before, and does it make a difference? Or is it just not worth doing in the first place (i.e. with the right solenoid, the actuator fills fast enough anyway).

Thanks!
