Idler Sprockets
Hey guys, we were hoping to use idlers on our drivetrain to give us more clearance while going over the bump.
The problem is we couldn't find any double sprocket idlers on McMaster's website so we had to make use of two single ones. Does anyone know where we can order double sprocket idlers? Thanks - Team 115 |
Re: Idler Sprockets
We've had good success just using rollers. Turn a piece of HDPE or Nylon in a lathe, and put it over a bolt. Not something you'd do in an industrial setting, but usually good enough for a few hours of robot driving... which is all you really need.
