re-installation of DS dashboard

I have seen numerous threads about to fix the DS dashboard, uninstall and reinstall the DS updates, but I don't get the uninstall/reinstall options. Where are they located?

They are presented to you when you open the DS Update package.

I was looking at the dashboard on a computer where we had installed LabView from the disks. Then I looked at what was running on the Classmate. The Classmate was missing the Gyro dial and bar graphs at the right side and the camera just wouldn't work.

I had installed the updates on both machines. In fact, I reinstalled the update to see if it fixed this. For some reason, the old version of the Driver Station was still running on the Classmate in either account.

It was simple to build the new version and replace the old one, but it may be a pitfall for others, so I'm mentioning it here. I didn't notice the difference for some time until I specifically was working on the camera problem.
