Slow update speed updating Jaguars
It's taking about 1/2hr to update a jaguar that seems off, any ideas?

Re: Slow update speed updating Jaguars
What is your setup? For example, how are you Jaguars connected to the update computer, how are you powering them, etc?
Are you using bdc-comm in the command line or GUI? List the steps you are taking. -David |
Re: Slow update speed updating Jaguars
Figured it out, the RJ-12 was crimped upside down. The funny thing is while BDC-Comm was acting odd it looked like it was working. It wasn't until I re-crimped the connector I found out how it should work.
Now I just need to get more then one to work at a time. I've set the black jag to ID 5. Then plugged in a Grey Jag w/100ohm 1% terminator and the second Jag LED won't go solid, and BDC-Comm won't detect it. The configuration is as shown in MDL-BDC24-GSG.pdf, Page 26, Figure 8-1 |
Re: Slow update speed updating Jaguars
I would double check the cable going between the Black Jaguar and the second Jaguar. If the pins don't go 1 -> 1, 2 -> 2, and so on then you won't get communication.

Re: Slow update speed updating Jaguars
If I hold the connectors side by side it looks like this.
