LabView a specification needed..
hey ya all...
actually its my first year working in my school's robotics team and it's our school's second year..... eventually all the last year programmers graduated and just i have a little question.. How do we store the project into the cRIO after we deploy it?(meaning when we reboot the cRIP the code is lost) i just need a little specification on how to make it stay in the robot or we have to deploy it everytime we reboot the cRIO... thanx a lot for any help... Re: LabView a specification needed..
On the Project Explorer window, away down at the very bottom of the file list, you'll see "Build Specifications" and under that the default name "FRC Robot Boot-up Deployment."
The program won't be active until you do so. |
Re: LabView a specification needed..
If you bring up the ProjectExplorer window, scroll to the bottom of the cRIO target, and expand the last item (Build Spec's). Right-click on the FRC Robot Boot-up Deployment. There are many options in there ... First you "Build" it. Then you "Set as Startup".
There's also some interesting information under the "Properties" option, but I don't fiddle with them, I just look at 'em ... ;) [edit] ... nice one Mark ... I should've hit refresh before I replied! |
Re: LabView a specification needed..
Hey, in my book you both get credit.
Not being a programmer, I went and tried to look that tidbit up...and failed. |
