Excellent Tips for Your 2010 Woodie Flowers Award Submission
Back in 2008, I worked with the fantastic, incredibly awesome Team #148 and mentored the students working on award submissions. I preached my methods on how to write an effective, informative, professional essay for the Woodie Flowers Award, and lo and behold, their wonderful candidate JVN won at the Bayou Regional.
I wrote this whitepaper back in 2008 (this plug is shameless, I know) to help students on other teams who wrote to me for assistance, saying they didn't know where to start with the WFA or UFH Awards. Never fear! Below is the link - it's worth the look, and it's a great way to get started. You can also send your award submission to me for final review, too. Just send me a message and I can get back to you with more information. http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/2154 Enjoy! I sincerely hope it helps you to write an essay you can be proud of producing. Amanda |
