On http://espn.com they have a super bowl XLIV simulation and they have the Saints winning on a end of 4th quarter game winning 78 yard drive. 35-31

I would love to see a score that close. But go Saints.

Saints by 5

I'll bet the half time show is as lame as the previous several that featured geezers lip-synching in front of fake crowds

Come on The Who is a good classic band. It'll be better than most in recent years especially the Jackson fiasco

Colts 34-24. Would be by more if Freeny were 100%.

Shouldn't this be moved to 'Chit-Chat'?

Agreed, but not much more.

Didn't see this before the game started but: Colts take it by 13.

I take it back - The light show is better than the fake fans; but my-o-my, now I wish they were lip-synching - Somebody turn the sound down.

Hey, Tom Petty (2 yrs ago) and Springsteen (last year) were amazing, but yeah, Im a bit disappointed this year....

But then my favorite song comes on and I take it back. Won't get fooled again!

Pete, hand the mic to someone else and stick to the strings. The Who definitely redeemed themselves at the end of that performance though. Back to the game.

Re: Super Bowl XLIV

So, once The Who started, I changed channels to espn, espn2, espnnews, NFL network and NONE of them have live people on tv talking about the game. I assume there is some contract the NFL has with CBS to get people to watch the halftime show, but its still crazy considering how much pregame there is that there is no halftime show actually talking about the game.

LOL awesome start to the second half.

Re: Super Bowl XLIV

Disclaimer, I ONLY went out to watch the halftime show after my Twitter feed started being flooded with comments on how awesome it was.

Was I the only one who, instead of thinking "OMG, THE WHO!!!!!!", was geeking out about the lights and effects? Oh, and the cymbals were pretty sweet.

Re: Super Bowl XLIV

Browns by 28 in XLV.

I'm actually not watching the game. The petty bickering between millionaires and billionaires that will lead to a lockout makes me not give a crap.

The cymbals and lights were awesome. That was just about all I was paying attention to. And being a bit of a new-born FIRST geek, I kept thinking, "Man, they put that stage up and took it down really fast!" and "I wonder who did the programming for the lights?":D

Yeah and they'll be playing the Browns and hell will have frozen over along with the coming of the anti-Christ. All of this after pigs fly, we have world peace, congress makes efficient decisions outside the of childish two party system and physicists find and mass produce the anti-graviton. :D

Re: Super Bowl XLIV

yeah, pretty much. but you never know. I just want to see Ndamakong Suh go into the NFL and plow the offensive lines...He is one awesome defensive lineman.
