Batteries
 

Hey everyone,

So we've found batteries that we'd like to use for the robot. They're the exact same specifications as those included in the KOP (dimensions, amp hours, etc) though they are made by a different company. Our team would like to use them because we can get them for much less than we'd pay for the KOP batteries. Is this legal?

If they are not the MK ES17-12 or the KOP EnerSys NP 18-12, you cannot use them in competition under <R40>. Practice only. You must use the above battery types in competition.
