How to configure the cRIO with windriver?

How exactly do you set up the cRIO with windriver? I followed the guide in /docs/frc and I did some googling, but the cRIO still won't connect.

I've heard that I need to reimage the device, how exactly would I do that?

did you look on this page: http://usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/....aspx?id=10934
the one you need is section 2.6 (page 31) of http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Com...ed-Rev-0.7.pdf

You must use the labview Imaging device.

You set it to windriver C++ when you use it. This is how we did it. It is a completely different thing from labview.

This confused our team at first as well... we wondered what LabVIEW had to do with setting up the robot for C++. However, the imaging program is installed (and updated) with LabVIEW. When you run it, just set it to C++ development.

On that note, there's a new cRIO image out (vesion 20). Make sure you image your robot with that and not the old version 19. To get it, download and run the newest LabVIEW update.
