Servo Problem

My team (3208) has been having alot of problems with the servos not responding to the program at all. We have plugged them into the PWM and attempted to use them but they didn't work. When we try the same program with the motors it works perfectly. We've tried using different servos but they didn't work either. We also tried using them in different slots but this didn't work either.

Thanks,

Gage LaCharite

Re: Servo Problem

Hi,

Are you placing a jumper on the headers adjacent to the PWM port the servo is connected to? This is required to enable 6V output to power the servo.

Once you place a jumper on one of these ports, it is not recommended to connect it to a speed controller.

For more information see section 3.4 of the control system manual.
