Router Set-up Issues

ive downloaded the files from linksys.com and the model i have is a WRT610N
when i run the setup.exe from the files, it does not recognize the router when i try to install it.
i couldnt care less about internet from it but we really need this wireless connection to the bridge
any fixes or tips?

Did you follow the setup directions in the control system manual? The linksys software is not required.
