Crate too big

Hi guys
our crate is about 50x50" when it can only be 48x48", is that a problem that will cause a larger shipment fee and if so how much, or are we not allowed to stay that way becuase we'll get disqualifyed?
THANKS!

You could be refused shipping. Fix it.

Without knowing much about Israeli shipping, I'd say, even in Israel. Fix it.

What if the wood that constructs the crate is the right size and only the hinges are a 1.5 inches bigger? Would it still be a problem?

Yes, it's still a problem. The 48" by 48" is like an imaginary box around the crate. Fix it.

I didn't have time to post fully before. But my advice is still the same - fix it unless you find a definitive source that says the overage is allowable. And get it in writing.

The truck driver telling you Tuesday afternoon that he won't load the crate is not a good time to find out. You've got some time to fix it now.
