Crate too big
Hi guys
our crate is about 50x50" when it can only be 48x48", is that a problem that will cause a larger shipment fee and if so how much, or are we not allowed to stay that way becuase we'll get disqualifyed? THANKS! |
Re: Crate too big
You could be refused shipping. Fix it.

even in Israel?

Re: Crate too big
Without knowing much about Israeli shipping, I'd say, even in Israel. Fix it.

Re: Crate too big
What if the wood that constructs the crate is the right size and only the hinges are a 1.5 inches bigger? Would it still be a problem?

Re: Crate too big
Yes, it's still a problem. The 48" by 48" is like an imaginary box around the crate. Fix it.

Re: Crate too big
I didn't have time to post fully before. But my advice is still the same - fix it unless you find a definitive source that says the overage is allowable. And get it in writing.
The truck driver telling you Tuesday afternoon that he won't load the crate is not a good time to find out. You've got some time to fix it now. |
